In fact, since the first version, I completely rewritten the application, simplifying the renaming workflow. Now the renaming process is almost totally automated, with less needs for user intervention.
But let's take a look at the application:
From here, you can add movies (video files), and let the application do the rest: file names will be analyzed, and information like title, year, language are extracted. Based on these extracted data, a search on IMDb is performed, in order to collect more data on the movies.
Of course you decide how to rename your files, and you can do that through the renaming rule dialog. Here you use movie attributes to define a renaming pattern, and how video files will be renamed.
You can also specify the representation of some attributes, and how attributes will be separated.
I also decided to collect some anonymous usage statistics, in order to improve future releases. If you want to help development, agree to send your statistics!
